Handheld Terminals           Demos

Handheld Terminals interface with wireless handheld remote terminals and printers for check-in alongside the vehicle. It also enables agents to update vehicle status from the lot. (Note that radio frequency assignments and procedures vary from country to country. We currently have installations in the U.S. and Canada.)  The use of handheld terminals provides many benefits: improves customer service, enhances company image, and gives your agents a chance to spot damage to vehicles that might not be reported. This module is recommended for operations with airport service centers and heavy rental volume during peak time periods.

Features Include

On-line data link updates files in real time, as if rental was checked in at the counter
A battery-powered printer produces a receipt for the customer at the time of check-in
Remote terminals can be used to update vehicle status on the lot (when car gets to ready line, update mileage, stall number, etc.)
Optional bar code readers are available for inventory checklists and to read key tags, etc.
Check-in agent can verify mileage, fuel tank level, and damages as part of check-in process
Customers are checked in faster and are on the shuttle for return to the airport quicker
